INARI Cerberus Illusion
Each litter at Cerberus Illusion kennel is carefully planned many years ahead. The situation with out I litter was the same. Years ago Anakin gave me the extraordinary D litter where he was able to “clone” himself in several puppies. Puppies inherited not only the beautiful anatomy, but a genius puppy was born as well. It was Duncan, the one who stayed at home and soon became the first Cimarron in the world who passed the first working exam at the age of 3 months. As Duncan was growing I was more and more happy with him – “the wonderful son of a wonderful Daddy“. Given his name – there could be only one puppy who stayed at home.
Creation of a new line at Cerberus Illusion
Duncan made me think more and more about a new breeding plan – the creation of another working line. But I needed a new female from absolutely different line. The selection was not easy. I was searching for many years till I found the best one – Albira Alma Celeste. It is a know-how to select a puppy from different line, which will give puppies with desired characteristics and this is not the place I would like to write about it. But my dream came true with the litter of this special girl. She gave me exactly the puppies I dreamt of. I cannot thank enough to my friends Renatka and Laďka who allowed me to choose Albira as the first chosen puppy from their first Cimarron Uruguayo litter.
The birth of Inari Cerberus Illusion
Before this litter was born, I had a name selected for one of the male puppies – Ivanhoe. But, at the same time, I knew, I wanted to keep a female. I was dreaming about a female “clone” of Anakin, but I was not able to select the right name for this special lady. Soon after the birth of the puppies, it was clear that my long awaited girl had been born. She was born as the last puppy in the I litter. It took me long time while I was watching the puppies to select the right name for my little girl – Inari.
Character of Inari Cerberus Illusion
When I select a puppy for myself, it is just the beginning. I always keep watching it, waiting for its development, its character and, of course, the working potential. Inari was growing into a beautiful lady with extraordinary anatomy and movement.
Each time she was standing, she was standing as if having been trained for the free stack during long months. All her legs were exactly where they were supposed to be, with head up proudly standing as a professional show dog.
Inari was a very self-confident, playful, brave and clever puppy. I selected her for myself and I wanted to keep one more female at home till they change their teeth. The destiny chose Isabel as the one, who stayed longer. As Inari changed her teeth perfectly with scissor bite and complete teeth, Isabel went for show and breeding to her new owner.
Work and training
I started obedience and trick training with Inari at the age of 8 weeks old. She inherited her parents´ great working potential. Playing football started to be her favorite activity. She inherited this from her mother.
Inari loved obedience, but much more she was interested in biting that she inherited from his Daddy. When I first tested her with biting a pad (at the age of 8 months) – she did incredible. She has full bite since the beginning, but we are still training to improve the strong hold as well as the release command.
Inari is a wonderful helpful young lady. When she saw me pulling a bough, she immediately gripped and and started pulling it too, to help me. Only one command was needed so she could understand which way we go with it. Next time I wanted to dig a hole – she came to help me, too. These are the things her father Anakin is doing and she inherited the ability to recognize the need for her assistance. Anytime I need to pull weeds that I can’t pull, I call my Anakin to help me – he eagerly jumps there, grips it and easily takes it out instead of me. Inari looks to become this kind of helper too. I am really happy for having her by my side.
